【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheequipmentandproceduresfordeterminingthelongtermwaterabsorptionoftestspecimensbydiffusion.Itisapplicabletothermalinsulatingproducts.Itisintendedtosimulatethewaterabsorptionofproductssubjectedtohighrelativehumidities,approximatingto100%,onbothsidesandsubjectedtoawatervapourpressuregradientforalongperiodoftimee.g.invertedrooforunprotectedgroundinsulation.Thetestisnotapplicableforalltypesofthermalinsulatingproducts.Theproductstandardshouldstateforwhichofitsproducts,ifany,thistestisapplicable.NOTE.Forunprotectedgroundinsulationthetemperatureof50℃mightbereplacedbyalowertemperature,whenmoredataisavailable.
