【摘要】:ThisStandardappliestonewvalveconstructionandcoversquarterturnmanuallyoperatedmetallicvalvesinsizesNPS41/4andtubingsizes11/4O.D.Thesevalvesareintendedforindoorinstallationasgasshutoffvalveswheninstalledinabovegroundfuelgaspipingdownstreamofthegasmeteroutletandupstreamoftheinletconnectiontoagasappliance.ThevalvescoveredbythisStandardareintendedforserviceattemperaturesbetween32°F(0°C)and125°F(52°C)atpressureratingsnottoexceed5psi(0.34bar).Whensodesignatedbythemanufacturer,thesevalvesmaybeinstalledforserviceoutdoorsand/orattemperaturesbelow32°F(0°C)and/orabove125°F(52°C).
