【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedtoevaluateperformanceassessmentofcombinationsofphased-arrayprobesandinstruments.Itisnotintendedtodefineperformanceandacceptancecriteria,butrathertoprovidedatafromwhichsuchcriteriamaybeestablished.Recommendedproceduresdescribedinthisguideareintendedtoprovideperformance-relatedmeasurementsthatcanbereproducedunderthespecifiedtestconditionsusingsimpletargetsandthephased-arraytestsystemitself.Itisintendedforphased-arrayflawdetectioninstrumentsoperatinginthenominalfrequencyrangeof1MHzto20MHz,buttheproceduresareapplicabletomeasurementsoninstrumentsutilizingsignificantlyhigherfrequencycomponents.Thisguideisnotintendedforservicecalibration,ormaintenanceofcircuitryforwhichthemanufacturerx2019;sinstructionsareavailable.Implementationofspecificassessmentsmayrequiremoredetailedproceduralinstructionsinaformatoftheusingfacility.Themeasurementdataobtainedmaybeemployedbyusersofthisguidetospecify,describe,orprovideaperformancecriteriaforprocurementandqualityassurance,orserviceevaluationoftheoperatingcharacteristicsofphased-arraysystems.Notallassessmentsdescribedinthisguideareapplicabletoallsystems.Allorportionsoftheguidemaybeusedasdeterminedbytheuser.1.1Thisguidedescribesproceduresforevaluatingsomeperformancecharacteristicsofphased-arrayultrasonicexaminationinstrumentsandsystems.1.2Evaluationofthesecharacteristicsisintendedtobeusedforcomparinginstrumentsandsystemsor,byperiodicrepetition,fordetectinglong-termchangesinthecharacteristicsofagiveninstrumentorsystemthatmaybeindicativeofimpendingfailure,andwhich,ifbeyondcertainlimits,willrequirecorrectivemaintenance.Instrumentcharacteristicsmeasuredinaccordancewiththisguideareexpressedintermsthatrelatetotheirpotentialusefulnessforultrasonicexaminations.Otherelectronicinstrumentcharacteristicsinphased-arrayunitsaresimilartonon-phased-arrayunitsandmaybemeasuredasdescribedinE1065orE1324.1.3Ultrasonicexaminationsystemsusingpulsed-wavetrainsandA-scanpresentation(rforvideo)maybeevaluated.1.4Thisguideestablishesnoperformancelimitsforexaminationsystems;ifsuchacceptancecriteriaarerequired,thesemustbespecifiedbytheusingparties.Whereacceptancecriteriaareimpliedhereintheyareforexampleonlyandaresubjecttomoreorlessrestrictivelimitsimposedbycustomersandenduserscontrollingdocuments.1.5Thespecificparameterstobeevaluated,conditionsandfrequencyoftest,andreportdatarequired,mustalsobedeterminedbytheuser.1.6Thisguidemaybeusedfortheevaluationofacompleteexaminationsystem,includingsearchunit,instrument,interconnections,scannerfixturesandconnectedalarmandauxiliarydevices,primarilyincaseswheresuchasystemisusedrepetitivelywithoutchangeorsubstitution.Thisguideisnotintendedtobeusedasasubstituteforcalibrationorstandardizationofaninstrumentorsystemtoinspectanygivenmaterial.1.7Requiredtestapparatusincludesselectedtestblocksandpositionencodersinadditiontotheinstrumentorsystemtobeevaluated.1.8Precautionsrelatingtotheapplicabilityoftheproceduresandinterpretationoftheresultsareincluded.1.9Alternateprocedures,suchasexamplesdescribedinthisdocument,orothers,mayonlybeusedwithcustomerapproval.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddete......
